Liquid Scintillator Neutrino Detector

LSND Collaborators at LSU

On the right is a photo of the inside of the LSND detector at Los Alamos.  LSND (the Liquid Scintillating Neutrino Detector) is an experiment designed to search for neutrino oscillations in appearance channels. The apparatus also observes neutrino interactions on nuclei, nucleons, and electrons.
